Featuring 11 original tracks written by Cloquet, MN songwriter Dedric Clark, “All We Need” offers a new brand of folk that’s making waves across the Northland and beyond. Blending diverse influences from Bon Iver to bluegrass, “All We Need” mixes Clarks rich soul-inspired vocals with Tony Petersen’s galloping banjo, concocting a rootsy/hip-hop texture that listeners are responding to. As honest as the winters the band grew up in, “All We Need” has powerful lyrical imagery and pop sensibilities from a writer far beyond his years, complimented with a fantastic band, Diet Folk’s debut album is quickly gaining speed.
